St. Amelia Summer SendOff 5K Run/Walk

Please join us on Saturday September 9, 2023 for the St. Amelia Summer SendOff 5K Run/Walk in Tonawanda, New York!

START/FINISH
The race will start and finish at Lincoln Park using USATF Course #NY20006JJ. There will be one water station located at the midpoint and bottled water will be provided to runners at the finish line.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. Your 5K entry fee includes an official race shirt (see below for details) along with light food/snacks after the race. All participants are encouraged to dress in their best 80's attire and race organizers will be awarding several prizes for best 80's attire! Stay tuned for more details as it will be unveiled before the race!

Packet pickup will take place at the start/finish line inside Lincoln Park from 7am right up until the start of the race at 8:00am. Those who register for the 5K by Thursday 8/24/23 at 9am will be guaranteed an official St Amelia Summer SendOff t-shirt. A small quantity of extra shirts will be ordered and distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis until they are gone.

5K Registration Fee: $30/$35 on race day
Kids 400M (non-timed) Fun Run*: $15/$20 on race day
*All Kids Fun Run participants will receive a finisher medal and food/drink voucher

EARLY PACKET PICKUP OPTION
We will also be offering an early packet pickup option on Friday night between 5pm and 7pm at St Amelia School located at 2999 Eggert Road Tonawanda, NY 14150. 90 West will be performing beginning at 7pm and there will be food trucks on hand for those who wish to stay and eat.

POST RACE CELEBRATION

The post race celebration and awards ceremony will take place at the start/finish line area inside Lincoln Park after the race. Runners are also welcome to come back later that evening where Nerds Gone Wild will be performing live beginning at 8pm ($15 entry fee at the door). All runners (21 and older) will receive a coupon for a free beer and $5 off their entrance fee that evening if you choose to come back and enjoy the concert.

St. Amelia will also be hosting a Touch A Truck for the kids back at the school from 10am to 12pm.

PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking at St. Amelia Church and the surrounding area.

AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female 5K finishers and all participants will be able to download custom finisher certificates from the event page and view/share finish line photos following the race! In addition, awards will be presented to the top three male and female runners in each of the following age groups...

11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.

CANCELLATION POLICY
There will be no refunds. In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, etc), we reserve the right to postpone/reschedule the event at our discretion, or offer a virtual alternative if necessary.

TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Timing services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
